With decades of experience at the intersection of publishing and education, founder and education director Rebecca Leon has her finger on the pulse of everything a publisher or author needs to access the school market.

As an editorial director of education at Scholastic Magazines, Rebecca defined instructional pedagogy for teacher resources across ELA magazines. Over the course of her career, she has written and edited thousands of lesson plans and literacy activities. She has a deep understanding of evidence-based practices in ELA as well as solid practical knowledge of what teachers are looking for in the classroom.

Our mission is to embrace the power of children’s books to spark curiosity, open doors of knowledge, and foster a love of learning. Bookshelf Bridge aims to give students the opportunity to read and understand whole books by providing all the instructional resources teachers need.
